Bring your friends and experience the most smokin’ hot weekend in the Midwest!

Midwest Fire Fest is part art fair, part fire spectacle, and 100% unforgettable. Held in the heart of Cambridge, Wisconsin, you’ll see over 30 juried artists showcasing their fiery talents in everything from ceramics and blacksmithing to hot glass and metal sculpture.

But this is no ordinary art fair…

  • Watch live blacksmithing, pit-fired pottery, and the epic 1,000-degree firing of a 1,000 pound, 7-foot clay sculpture.
  • Create a design you can take home in a “scratch tile” workshop (10:00am Saturday), then at 3:00pm, the Cowyard hot iron team team will pour liquid metal into your mold; after it cools down, you get your tile! 
  • Be mesmerized by The Fire Tribe’s hypnotic dance performances.
  • Enjoy live music, with disco from VO5, Americana from The Joseph Huber Band, polka with Val Sigal a piano brunch, and more.
  • Feast on delicious food truck eats and sip local brews at the beer tent.

10:00 am – Fire Fest lights up – live demonstrations all day

10:00 – Make a scratch tile design for the hot iron pour 

12:00 – Demonstration: pottery pit firing by Ric Lamore

12:30, 2:45, 7:15, 8:45 – Fire performances by The Fire Tribe

3:00 – Hot iron pour for the scratch tiles

3:00 – 4:00 – TBD – finalist from Rockonsin (WI’s high school garage band contest)

5:00 – 7:00 – The Joseph Huber Band              

8:00 – 10:00 – VO5 – disco

9:00 – 9:15 – Janina Myronowa sculpture reveal
